[A8] The Cost of 4 Rings

The cost of 4 rings is cheap!
Things only go up from there!
Think Boating and Flying!
Gas on the lake is still $3.00 a gallon.
And $4.20 at the airport yesterday.
I put 22.8 gallons in the A8 yesterday at $2.26 gal ( yes premium, BP even )

I'm building my own airplane and it will be cheaper than anything I could buy and still more than I can afford.
All these crazy guys ( as I'm sure I qualify to most normal people ) try to put auto conversions in some planes. I always thought that a good old turbo I-5 would be great! But that cast iron block sure is heavy!
Can you imagine an I-5 or even the V8 putting out a continuous 200-220hp for hours on end?!?!
That's why I'm just going to stick with a good old VW type 4cyl 400CI engine!
