[A8] 1999 A8 price

So, my plan was to pick up the car take it to my tech and have him perform the 90k T-belt maintenance (the car has 88k on it). I get to the dealership and test drive the car and it overheats. Coolant leaking from the front of the motor, obviously a bad water pump. I negotiated the price of the car and took it since T-belt was going to be performed immediately anyway. I bought the car for $7,400 OTD, what do you guys think?
