Cody- That is strange. I have not had that problem on any of my cars 
including my 1998 A8. I have had problems with broken wires where they run through 
the door hinge line, but your symptoms sound more like something caused by 
an erratic electronic contol module. I do not know if there is even one 
involved. Good luck!
