[A8] Eliminating brake pad squealing

I would have to look at my receipts. I had one set that squealed. Tried all
kinds of stuff but in the end the squealing only stopped when I bought
another set of pads.

The pads come with a backing material, either rubberized or copper.
Re-surfacing the rotors is a waste as the pads will seat soon enough. The
pad vibrations are silenced by the shim (either rubberized or copper)
between the backing plate and the piston. If the pads did not come with
proper silencing material, you can find/make your own.
