... pay for a chip upgrade if you like, but the rev limiter is actually in
the Fuel Pump relay on this car.  ISTR that it was possible to fit a
standard fuel pump relay in place of the one with the built in shutoff
feature, but I don't have the details.  I wouldn't be surprised to find a
FPR from an old Audi Fox wouldn't give you what you're looking for ...
