... while I most definitely agree with Ti's "why?" question ... there is
precedent of an I-5 mounted transversely ... in one of the VW Eurovans ...
I'm by no means an expert, but if I'm not mistaken, I think that was the
largest stock displacement for the I-5 ... was it 2.5l? Now "quattro" would
be out pretty much by definition ...
