[ba] My wrecked V8q (BA)

Hmm .. suspiciously familiar. You didn't by any chance replace the
control arm, did you? When I did my front-end last year, the lower ball
joint boot was ripped, so I ordered a new arm. The bushings didn't
quite seat properly, but I ignored it at the time. Six months later,
the stabilzer bar separated from the control arm and the car collapsed
on the right front wheel -- fortunately in a parking lot. Turned out
that the arm itself was grossly defective, and I failed to notice it
(the depression into which the bushing sits was visibly elliptical,
instead of circular).
Anyway, I'm sure you'll find out soon enough. Good luck ...
