Be careful about this ... if the insurance company is declaring this to be a
total loss you will probably end up with a salvage title for the car ...
have you talked to the insurance company about getting your own estimates to
see if you can't bring it down so that it is not a total?  BTW, has the
alignment shop acknowedged any fault in the accident?
