[ba] dip switches on side of instrument cluster question

Hopefully, I now have a working instrument cluster (Long story).

There are 3 dip switches on the Tach side of the cluster. Does anyone know
how these are supposed to be set?
I currently have 3 clusters and they are different. All clusters came from
Coupe Quattro 20v cars.

What are these for?

My original has all in an on position.
1 from force 5 auto in off.
1st one from Dads Auto in on and 2nd one from Dads in off.

Sections 90 and 91 of Bentley no real help.

On position sounds logical.
