I don't have any direct experience, but one of my best friends is doing two
of them. In urQs. I also helped him do a 4ktsq conversion. Keep in mind,
I helped, so I don't know all the asnwers. I am starting another on my
4ksq. Personally, as fun as a 20V in the 4ksq sounds, it is not worth it.
After all is said and done, it will be hard to justify the cost. IMO. Best
guess, you would have at least 4K$$ into it by the time you were done.
Probably more. For only a few hundred $$$ you can get a 10vT. Why not port
and polish the head, throw in a cam, do EFI, maybe upgrade the turbo and
call it good. Bet you would have a car just as fast as a 20vT that is
chipped (if not faster) for a lot less $$. My friends 4ksq is mechanically
sorted out. Without an IC, it will easily pull with a chipped S4 to around
70 MPH (K24). The boost is around 8 at the moment. Dump in an IC bump up
the boost and he will have an extremely fast car.

Just my thoughts.
