Hi bay-area quattrophiles,

I don't monitor this list (although I lived in San Jose
'73 - '99; ' live in Ukiah now) but I thought I'd forward
the text version (with link targets added) of the email
I received yesterdahy in case any of you were interested
in an Audi party & watchfest at this year's Le Mans Series
at Sears Point July 27th.  I didn't get to see this event
last year and I've been thinking about it since.  If you're
interested, send an email to info at norcalquattroclub.org to
get tix, and let the list know you're going so we could all
meet and see a good race together.

Dear Stephen Scalmanini,

The Nor Cal Chapter of the Audi Club North America would
like to invite all its members and other Audi owners to
Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) to see the American Le Mans
Race, plus the World Challenge GT Race, on July 27th, 2003.

You can see the R8 and the new RS6s run at our local track.

We have planned an Audi Corral, plus a welcome tent with
refreshments. The tickets are discounted $15 (to $30) for
our club members and will allow you to go through the pits
to see all the cars and drivers up close.

Please e-mail the club promptly to confirm the number of
tickets you will need, so we can order. We are looking
forward to seeing many of you there at Sears Point.

At the Corral, we will also have advance information
concerning the Frank Beddor National Event that will
be taking place at Sears Point, November 17–21, 2003.
