I've gotten a few messages from folks interested in my Fox.  One of the
reasons it was so attractive for Tom to take is is that there are so many
outstanding registration fees here in the state of California that I don't
think it will be practical to think of the car as a project to get back on
the road here.  The car is in the registry to get a look:

I have to admit that the paint on the roof has deteriorated to the point
that it is starting to rust ... and I think the tires are getting to be
weather checked.  I've got to believe that the engine will still run, but it
will probably take cleaning out the fuel tank and flushing the lines somehow
to get it to that state.  The car also has a 5-speed from an '86 4k and a
fairly new clutch.  I've also been collecting quite a few replacement parts
for it over the years ... radiator, alternator, fuel distributor, who knows
what else ...

I don't know if I'd be asking much, if anything for it ... but if there are
any people serious please get in touch with me for more information.  I will
also want to get in touch with Tom, as he still has first dibbs ...
