I hadn't heard much about the ALMS this year ... got an ad from Audi in the e-mail and found that the ALMS at Laguna Seca is this weekend ... did a bit more digging ... looks like the ALMS cars are up in San Francisco today ... and San Jose tomorrow.  No question I'll be there ... anyone else planning to attend?  It will be interesting smelling diesel exhaust this year ... ;-)

Wednesday, October 18 will bring the sites and sounds of the Monterey Sports Car Championships to downtown San Jose. Drivers and cars from the American Le Mans Series and SPEED World Challenge hit the streets surrounding Plaza de Cesar Chavez park for Mini Le Mans of San Jose presented by Sunoco. Sports car fans in the South Bay will have opportunities to get driver autographs, win Monterey Sports Car Championship prizes, and see the cars on the same public streets that take thousands to their office every day. Mini Le Mans of San Jose will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
