well, i used to drive a 92 ford taurus SHO. i used to replace stuff before it broke - because i could pretty much guess what was going to take a crap at the worst time ;-)

here's the deal:

the car in question - owned by an audifan member - lago blue, 17" rims from an A6, new radiators, new bomb, new UFOs, new timing belt. 110k original miles

things to fix - sunroof tilts but doesn't slide back, a/c busted, slow power steering leak, windows work if you tap them a couple times, radio has a mind of its own, needs struts and tires. $3,000

another one in SF - red (not my favorite color), 164k on the clock (sorta high for my tastes) but needs nothing. $4200

the price difference doesn't concern me - i am intrigued by the lago blue and lower miles of the one that needs more work though.

i will keep the sentra for a daily driver. still it would be cool if someone who knows what the heck they are looking at would come with me. no biggie if no one can make it though.
