[ba] 1993 Audi S4 for under $5,000. what's wrong with it?

i guess i'm still baffled how the 200q20v and the URS4 used to go for so much more money even 4 years ago. now, their value has totally plummeted. the 200q20v's depreciation is especially confusing. there can't be more than 800 left in the states by now, eh?

i know the economy has a lot to do with it, but i thought these cars were coveted by audi enthusiasts? i mean, if the URS4 and the 200q20v are worthless, then what constitutes a "collectible audi" - other than a URQuattro (which have dropped in value too), and of course an auto union or a horsch?

to me, the ultimate audis are the 20V turbo I5s. they are still brutal beasts when properly modded.

Does the price seems too low? When I bought my 91 200, and my 5ktq 5 years earlier, I was the only one interested in buying them. I kinda thought that there are so many newer Audis around there just isn't any demand for the older ones.
