you know, i did think about a passat 2.0T - even found one i was thinking of
buying. nice car! but, in the end, i decided to stick with my original plan of a
2.5 5 banger jetta.
reason being i don't want to complicate matters with a turbo daily driver. i
plan on buying a car and driving the piss out of it. more HP and torque, means
more stress on the auto tranny. plus given my experiences with my 200q20v, you
start getting into boost issues by 115k miles or so. boost leaks, flakey WGFVs -
not a super big deal - but i'd like a relatively trouble-free ride so i can
concentrate on yelling and screaming at my 200 ;-)
BTW - WTF is the deal with that pneumatic parking brake on the passat. talk
about something just asking to break ;-)
see ya,
Robby

I wish that 2.0T 6 spd CC came in 4MO - such a beautiful car.

Robby,
I see a lot of Passat sedans and wagons out there that fit your criteria, at
least in my area in the Northeast:

I currently drive a 2010 CC 6-speed (2.0t) as a DD and am enjoying it well
enough with a range of 500 miles per tank to boot.
HTH,
Jim
