[ba] urq (UPG) Convoy to ???

I got a call from Sean down in Las Vegas this evening.  It sounds like the
large scale 30th Anniversary UPG Event which had been announced in Colorado
is in jeopardy.  Sean is working with folks in Las Vegas to have an urq
event in their area in late September.  I think that Sean has already been
in contact with other fans in the area, but I wanted to see if there is
enough interest to have a local discussion.  

One of my greatest Audi memories was driving out to Colorado and back from
the Bay Area for the AudiFest back when.  We actually spent more time en
route to and from the event ... and most of my best memories were from the
trip out and back ... even getting a speeding ticket out in the middle of
nowhere in Nevada evokes a smile.  

In that light, I thought I'd see if we could talk about a convoy from the
Bay Area ... or perhaps even making the Bay Area a waypoint along the way.  

Any thoughts?  Are any here already planning to go to Las Vegas for the urq
(UPG) event?
