[BiturboS4] clunk (was: rattle)

I've got the dash rattle too, but recently i developed a heavy clunking
somewhere low and ahead of the driver compartment.  Only really apparent
on low speed bumps...

Dealer says : "2 subframe connectors broken in half".  The service rep
wasn't too clear with me on what these are - anyone know?  Maybe where
the front swaybar attaches to the subframe?

I'm the mad pot-hole dodger, so i'm a little shocked i could've broken
thru both sides (no blunt traumas here!). I guess the moral is, if you've
got any clunking up front, get it checked out - he wouldn't let me have
the car back until they could get parts to fix it 'cause he said it may
be dangerous to drive!
