[BiturboS4] Extended Warranty?

Hey Rich
The warranty doesn't say ANYTHING about after market mods. So I dont think there would be any problem,
unless you had a problem with the ECU, they may not replace that. But then again, they might... I take the car to
my shop, any shop and that shop deals with the warranty service to get paid. So as long as your shop doesn't say
something like... Well the turbo's were totally blown, and it was the users fault. They were running the car out of
spec.. blah blah.. then I dont see there being a problem. You would be responsible for stuff like a timing belt, but
THEY would pay for something like a water pump, if it were to go bad. And My understanding is that the timing
belt has to come off to get at the water pump. I get the feeling my water pump is going to go bad. I spend a lot of
money at my shop. I have a good relationship with my shop.....
When do you need to change that timing belt anyhow? I have heard a few different numbers. I think the dealer
told me 120k.
Cheers,
Adam
