[BiturboS4] Euro springs

Good man, Scott. I'm curious about this, too. I just scraped the
little rear towing point entering the parking lot this morning. First
time this has happened in my S4. The lot entry does have a nasty dip.
Cars with lots of overhang have to take it at a significant angle to
avoid scraping.

I'm still interested in a little firmer setup that essentially maintains
the stock height. Mine is 2001 silver S4 Avant 6 spd sport, cold, Bose,
wonderful.

Subject: [BiturboS4] Euro springs

There's been a lot of talk lately about the Euro S4s being lower & a bit
stiffer. Well, this sounds like a good thing to me, so I'm working
w/Josh
Decker (local here in Redmond, WA) to get a set imported for my Avant --
to
go w/the Bilsteins I have sitting on the bench in the garage. I'm
looking to
lower the car slightly, and stiffen it up enough so I don't bottom-out,
and
the Euro springs sound like the closest thing I've found so far.

I've seen a bunch of Euro S4 pics, and frankly I can't tell whether
they're
really lower or not. For instance, the Tiff Needle RS4 video has a pic
of an
S4 Avant, and it easily looks as jacked-up as mine.

But, at least now we'll know for sure. I'll report back w/some data when
things come together.
