Get Greek plates?
The theft prevention designed into the car (at least in the States) is crappy.
It takes about 30 seconds to break into and drive away with an S. First step is
to remove the locking pin on the driver's door (the little thing that goes up
and down as the doors are locked). Some might be pissed for me 'divulging' that
info, but I doubt thieves are lurking on the biturbo board, and even if they
are, I assume I'm helping more than I'm hurting.

Also, there is no chip on the key, again - in the U.S.; other countries have
one. People talk of a fuel cutoff or a starter disabler as the best solutions.
The locking devices are easily disabled and don't take brains to get past. You
want something that takes brains to get past as I'm assuming most thieves
aren't incredibly smart and rely more on force.
