[BiturboS4] Rumor(s) Behind The New S4

We're all of the "blown turbo" claims really due to the chips?  I haven't seen
any hard numbers and it's probably too difficult to know for sure, but based
on the well known problem with the early S4s and their oil feeds, part of me
thinks that these turbos were doomed from the start.  Maybe the 2.7T design is
just more prone to turbo failure?

Admittedly, the 1.8T setup has been hugely successful and I haven't heard many
complaints with turbo failures on those cars...and God knows every teenager
throws a GIAC chip and exhaust on those cars.  So, creating a turbocharged
engine can be successful.  I guess it's all in the design.
