That's a VR6, not a V6.  VR6 is a compromise between vee and inline
engine designs.  The two banks of cylinders are at 15 degrees and
slightly offset from each other lengthwise.

It lets you squeeze six cylinders into a package that's slightly longer
and slightly wider than an I4.  Compare this to an I6 which is a lot
longer but the same width and a V6 which is shorter but much wider.
