[BiturboS4] Nav systems

So you're the a-hole that's swerving all over the road while you're trying to
read something and drive. You probably talk on a cell phone and smoke too while
driving. Tasks for four hands but only two, not to mention zero concentration.

Maps either don't have addresses, or have so much info you need multiple ones.
You can't pull that 'maps' argument if you've EVER gotten online directions.
Plus, I'm a huge advocate of devoting all my energies toward navigating my two
ton vehicle and not trying to read and figure out where to turn (which is done
with plenty of advanced notice with nav. More distance of notification at
higher speeds, less at lower). Finally, the nav display does other stuff when
it's not on: stereo controls, odometer stuff. Depends on the nav unit.

In all seriousness, Walter, have you ever really used a nav system? Not just
tried it, but put in an address and gotten a feel for the whole thing? Granted,
it did take me a few months to really understand Audi's, and I still have
questions (like how to delete a stored destination). But if someone adapts to
technology and has used a nav, I have no clue how they would not insist on one.
I carry my Garmin with me on business trips.
