Liability courts might well not view it that way.  After all, it was
the operator's job to make sure he pushed on the brake, not the
accelerator in the "unintended acceleration" fiasco, right?  That didn't
help Audi much.  Making your product different in some way that leads
uneducated consumers to do something stupid with it can be very dangerous.

Who currently manufactures a car that comes with a turbo timer from
the factory?  I don't know of any.
