[BiturboS4] BLOWN Turbos - Can I Assume That Audi Is Providing Me With Updated S4 Turbos ?

Again - I will not consider paying $2700 unless it's
the updated turbos and plumbing.
Yes, everyone is correct - Audi is sticking it to me
RETAIL - would u expect less from a car manufacturer.
How YBH Audi broke it down to me - the turbos retail
for $1800 each - 21 hours labor = $1500 - taxes +
fluids/misc parts = $300 - roughly speaking the total
= $5400.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I purchased a turbo
for my Porsche on ebay and it cost me $700
re-conditioned and retails for $1500.
So, $1800 for the Audi K03s - may not be that out of
line.
Also, I received quotes from local independent Porsche
shops to install the re-conditioned turbo, and the
going labor rate was $75 (that included AWE - since
they are local to me).
Since I am paying HALF the LABOR on the S4 repair - my
effective labor rate is $35.71 for 21 hours.
The estimated time to install the re-conditioned turbo
that i bought on ebay was 10 hrs (I even confirmed
this with the turbo's vendor - KoKeln - they vouched
for the install time).
Again, taking this into consideration - 21 hrs for TWO
turbos is not totally unreasonable.
$300 for taxes/misc is not excessive either - because
sales tax is 6% in PA ($5100 * 0.06 = $306).
So, in my opinion, the price quote that received from
Audi is not really "WHACK", as my 19 yr college
freshman son would say.
I'm open to suggestions/counter points.
