yes..but not ALL 944 were built or assembled in Audi
factories. You have to check your car's VIN to see if
your car was assembled in an Audi or Porsche factory.

Having trolled RENNLIST (the Porsche Posting Board)
for years - I am familiar with the history. Also, the
951 (street name: 944 turbo) is a very DIFFERENT car
(body, suspension, and engine wise)than a standard
924/944.

Many of the 951 parts were manufactured by Porsche and
assembled at Audi factories, but u can only tell via
the VIN.

Interestingly, many VW parts can be substituted in
911s and 944/951s, I have not heard the same thing
about Audi parts.

Many 951 owners are known to troll VW parts counters.
They can purchase a VW part for less than half the
cost of an identical Porsche part.
