I'm wondering what sort of transmissions you guys have in your for sale
S4s? I think my wife would enjoy a tiptronic S4. I'm sorry you've
suffered life-style changes that are causing you to consider driving
SUVs. How about an All-Road or one of these Volvo sort of SUV wagons?
I think these might even have a 3rd seating row.
I can't imagine one could ever really be happy with anything with 3 rows
of seats in terms of driving pleasure after having owned an S4.
Personally I'm lusting for a real Porsche at this point.
Ed Carroll has a very nice blue 1999 Carrera on the lot for $45K.
Someone was telling me that Consumer reports rates Porsche number 1 in
terms of reliability. This is amazing for a performance car brand don't
you think? They say there is no substitute.
Mine is a 2001 S4 Avant 6 speed loaded 22,000 miles stock - just back
from the dealer after getting the driver's seat heater switch replaced
and having the washer fluid reservoir reconnected after noticing that as
I refilled it the fluid was coming out the wheel well. Minor annoyances
in an otherwise fabulous car. No kids to cram in there. 5 cats, but
they are not travelers and have to live in the house. Just the wife and
I to enjoy the wonderful S4.
Cheers everyone. Have a good weekend.

How about a "4-Motion" Passat wagon (longer wheelbase) ... and you can't
get
a W8 in an Audi!

Hey all, I'm selling my 01 S4 Avant. It's just a little cramped in the
back seat for 3 kids all in car seats. anyone have a recommendation of
suv's with 3 row seating? I like the lincoln aviator and the dodge
durango, but the durango has drum brakes in the back - yuk!
