[Biturbos4] Winter Tire Help

I've got a set of Pilot Alpins that I'm quite happy with, but according to
the survey they were near the bottom of the list!  This leads me to believe
you'd be happy with any of the tires in that category except maybe the Pilot
Alpin PA2 (unless tread wear is extremely important to you).  It also makes
me wish I had a set of Winter Sport M3s to try out.  I can't imagine what a
tire even better would be like!  Of course here in SE Michigan we haven't
really had enough snow to bother with winter tires yet.  Counting the 1" we
got yesterday, we've had a total of 1.4"!  But I did put the snow tires on
my wife's A4 Avant last weekend just to be safe, and in part because her
summer tires are down to about 3/8" of tread.
