Once you plug your car into the dealer diagnostic computer, it should take no more than 30 seconds to do, all you change is one code. Your dealer is either being lazy, completely clueless, or don't want to do this for potential liability reasons. I've heard that last one on the remote windows function, but re-programing the doorlock shouldn't be an issue.

PS: Look in the tech section on AW, there's an extensive article on how to do that with codes for every possible doorlock/window configurations.
PPS: Ask if someone in your area with a VAG-COM can do it for you if your dealer insist on not doing it.

Subject: [Biturbos4] One button push to unlock doors?
Went to local dealer for just an oil change.. was there 2 1/2 hours, and I had an appointment. Now the dealer is asking me for a favorable rating if Audi calls.
I had asked them if they could make all the doors unlock with just one push of the unlock button. I know, not a big deal, but I find it annoying. They said it would require a lot of code changes to perform this function, and in that way, said no they wouldn't.
Is this an easy thing to accomplish?
