Also, running the Dunlap Winter Sports. I run them on a set of OEM Avus.
Love them! My car claws thru stuff SUVs dream about. Only downside is if
it is too deep the front openings clog up.

Laramie... fond memories of a speeding ticket in Laramie. Never would have
thought that he could have caught me. Laramie jail. Very friendly people.

I second Adam's comments. I'm running Dunlop Winter Sports on Mille
Miglia Spider wheels in the stock size as recommended by Tirerack and
ordered from them. The whole deal was about $1200 and I can easily swap
them myself with the stock rubber and wheels. The factory Pirelli's are
all but worthless on ice and snow, but the Winter Sports turn the S4
into a little tank. The wheels are even good looking IMHO.

Aurangzeb,
Yea! last night was bad! But my S4 was going right through it
all with my Dunlop WinterSport M2's. They are great tires...
How about last weeks blizard? I went right up my hill which
was sheer ice. We could hardly walk on it!!!! I didnt even
bother clearing my driveway last night( which is a hill)
Your best bet is to get a second set of rims and get 4 snow
tires. If you do that, you will get through anything.. AND
then you can go into un plowed parking lots and have a lot of
fun too!
good luck
