[BiturboS4] Track Time

Stock brakes are too weak for track. I've just wrapped my rotors (using
stock pads). Maybe with better pads (Pagid RS4-2, Mintex C-Tech, Porterfield
R4S...) it wouldn't have been so critical for the stock rotors. Stock brake
fluid is crap too. Actually, after 30 min. of track, a stock S4 does not
brake anymore. But don't worry, it's not dangerous, it happens little by
little. Now I'm in the process of looking for new (and slotted) rotors and
pads, because I think "Big Brakes" kits are to expensive for my monthly 30
min. track driving. Try to seat down in your car with a helmet too. If you
are tall, it can be a problem. I've removed the left roof handle in my car,
because the helmet was constantly hitting it. And visit
http://www.turnfast.com/, there are some useful advices for track driving.

Group,
I'm the new owner of an S4, and I can't wait to get it out on the track.
Can anyone tell me how the stock brake pads hold up to such events? I don't
try to wring every last tenth of a second out of the car, but the pads need
to hold up to 20 to 30 minute sessions of spirited driving at 9/10's or so.
Also, any suggestions on mounting a lap belt? It doesn't look like I can
expose the anchor points for the stock belt without taking stuff apart. I
would still plan on using the stock belts so I don't want to remove them,
but I like being able to tighten the additional lap belt to keep me from
sliding around.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
