As far as I know the allroad 4.2 has already been launched in the US for
the 2003 model year.  I don't know how easy it is to get one, though.
Special order may be necessary.

The Avantissimo was a one-off concept show car.  It was never intended
for production as-is.  However, much of its underpinnings were based on
the new A8, which is due out in the US later this year.  I don't think
there is an Avant version of the A8 in the lineup, though.

The current S6 is an Avant-only model in the US, and the new-gen V8 S4
will be available in sedan and Avant versions.
