[BiturboS4] Tip Chip & Exhaust Comment

Tip Chip Install: The GIAC tip chip was installed a week or so ago. I
haven't reported on the performance change as I really haven't had an
opportunity to drive the car real hard since installing the chip. GIAC says
the chip is a good thing. MTM (actually Hoppen) says they don't recommend it
(ie, they don't sell it, I think). GIAC is right on IMHO. The shifts are
quicker and very smooth. Most of the delay (a portion of a second probably,
but seems much longer) has disappeared. It seems like a worthwhile $300
expenditure.
While I was installing the chip I had them remove my Borla exhaust as I hate
the "fart-like" sound it generates. The car is quieter now, but this was yet
another mistake as my max boost (MTM chip) has been reduced from 18psi to
15psi. It feels slower too. It seems like a much bigger difference than the
10-15HP gain I read about.
Which exhaust do you guys think has the best tone? Borla has to get the
award for worse in that category.
