Hello,
I was actually about to write this same e-mail. My S4, 60k
miles, APR chip, no other mods.. is doing the same thing.
When its very cold I get a fairly loud whine. No errors, no
power loss. I was guessing that it was my DV. Maybe the
rubber is more stiff in the cold?

I dont think there is anyhting really wrong, as the car is
performing as it should. But maybe its a sign of things to
come??

If you have the Forge DV, isnt that serviceable? Maybe you
could open yours and re-oil them. See if that makes a
difference?

And how cold is cold? Last night it was about 4 degrees F.
here when I got in the car.

Cheers,

A
