[BiturboS4] ESP, headlights, electrical stuff

Perhaps the late 60s FIAT 128 sport coupe rivaled even the British
Leyland cars of the time for electrical problems. My dad had one. The
dealer replaced the entire wiring harness at one point. It wasn't too
many more years before FIAT pulled out of the US market. Dad also owned
an Audi 100 sedan in the 70's. It had some problems, but I don't recall
any electrical issues.

I've had no problems electrical or otherwise with my Mar 2001 build S4
Avant loaded including cold weather package. I will try to observe the
lights dimming when esp kicks in effect if we get any more snow around
here this winter.

John H. Laramie WY Silver S4 Avant 6 spd 20k miles getting a new
bumper cover at the body shop today. It's like picking up a brand new
car every time I get it back from the body shop. Don't you just love my
positive attitude? Damn, it's good to be alive and get to drive an S4!

In my experience, Audi has always had shitty electronics. Before the
B5's, looking at used Audi's was to find a slew of cars with electric
windows, door locks, seat heaters, switches, dash lights, etc that'd
long quit working. What we've got now is the new improved Audi!
Besides,
who could ever touch an old British car for lousy electronics! ;)
