[BiturboS4] A4 Ignition Coil replacement? Applies to S4?

My father-in-law cliped an article from Consumer Reports a while back
which states that some VW's and Audi's can have their ignition coils
replaced.  Aparently this is a "customer service action" rather than a
"recall".  According to the article, "The automaker tells us that it has
instructed dealers to replace the coils on all affected cars, even if the
coils have not failed".

The article goes on to state that the cars affected are: '01 to '03 model
year vehicles, including Audi TT and A4 (and VW's...).

I'm curious to know if this applies to S4's?!  Anyone know?
