Of course if you need to downshift from 6th, 99% of the time 3rd gear will
get you well into the power band unless you're on the freeway.  Of course with
3rd gear being good for about 98 mph at redline, you'd have to be going well
over the speed limit on the freeway to need a gear higher than 3rd for your
downshift.  :)
