Actually, the stock Audi batteries leak acid in hard turns... look for run
under the battery tray and on the tray itself.  I've replaced several like this.

I'm going into production to manufacture mounts to mount in a sealed Optima
battery to solve this problem.  It's very common, and you'd be sick to see the
corrosion from the spilled battery acid.
