The current version is called "DSG" but its concept and design
is vastly different than BMW's SMG.  So far it's only implemented
for the transverse engine models (Audi TT 3.2q and VW R32).

I have not heard anything to that effect.  I think it's more likely
the new S4 V8 will get a 6-speed Tiptronic option in addition to
the 6-speed manual.
