Laser dector and shifer - same thing (read the details). You can't copyright
jammer - too common and it makes you think of crappy radar that has false
advertising.

The price: shop around. I've seen them for $300-400 and you don't have to get
professional installation - that's just how they promote their dealer network.

And as for rear jamming - I'll gladly get as much coverage as I can (side is a
waste, per the lidatek website and the rules of physics). I bolted out of the
toll booth yesterday and the V1 went nuts when I hit about 70mph. Slammed on
the brakes and mingled with traffic but if he had laser - I'd have a ticket.

Get what you want. I think there's a group buy for the lidatek on AW.
