Ti, APR is working on (or maybe even has released) what they call "direct
port programming". It's like chipping your car except that you don't need to
physically mess with the ECU. Instead, you just plug into the VAG port and
send data to the ECU (kind of like flashing the ROM). This way, the dealer
will never know and the software can be changed easily.
