You could do that, but that would cause side effects like having to
re-enter your radio security code. The radio will also lose its
hidden equalizer settings, the trip computer will lose its memory,
the trip odometer will go to zero, each power window will need to be
lowered and raised a full cycle to reprogram the one-touch travel
range..., etc. In short it's annoying when the car loses battery
power completely.
