[Biturbos4] Tire Recomendation? and possible tire for sale.

Yes, i have a similar situation here. My wife has a 92 legend as well
(~ 90k miles) which we use for long trips and when we dont want to take
a nice car into the city. We tried to get H rated tires on it, and
the rep said something about the loading characteristics of H rated
tires and the legend series of cars....

Sounded like b/s to me, so i did some research and ordered her some H
rated michelin MXV's from tirerack. They are great tires for that car.
They definitely give a softer ride than the V rated, but we have had no
problems at all! Actually we are over 30k on them and still have
quite a bit of tread left to go.

My feelings are that the tire companies generally do not want to sell
you a lower rated tire than your OE tires b/c of the liability. Some
idiot might sue b/c they had a blowout at a speed that the tires were
not rated for.

Anyways, I think this will be the last set of tires for that car before
we trade it for a new A4 or Passat for her.
