[Biturbos4] cold running operation on APB

I've heard that there is a ECU reflash that was a TSB that the dealers
did in some cases. I don't have any details other than that. There might
be more info in the archives or on Audiworld. FWIW, I have a 00 S4 tip
that seems to run allright the one winter I had it; all the tips have an
air pump that runs at cold start like you mentioned on the RS4. There is
also a program called Lemmiwinks out there that allows you to change
settings in the ECU; some use it to retune parameters for better cold
starting primarily on stage 3 type engines.
Good luck,
Al

I would expect the devices involved would be the coolant temp sender and MAF to determine how cold everything is and how much adjustments are needed. I would assume the ECU deals with enrichment, timing, possibly throttle plate compensation, possibly even boost control. But what other devices are involved and how does it all work.
