[Biturbos4] Droning noise...

My A6 2.7t has been making a droning noise at speed.  It is a subtle noise coming from the engine... similar to a noise from a wheel bearing that is starting to go bad or a bad tire.... but in this case is definitely coming from the engine.

I don't have any oil burn or power loss and my turbos seem to sound normal (the little high pitched whistle).

I only hear it under load but it is fairly independent of speed/gear etc.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
