If you're in the US, the S4 2.7 biturbo was offered only for the '00 to '02
model years.  There was no '03 S4, and then beginning for the '04 model
year the new S4 4.2 V8 debuted.

There were a number incremental improvements made to the S4 biturbo 
between the '00 and '01.5 models.  The most notable is the upgraded
turbos with larger oil lines.  If your budget allows it, I'd recommend
going with a '01.5 or '02 car.  See the archives for this list for
