Agree completely with Ti. I'm keeping mine long term as well. I still
think it is really special. I even managed to get one without any funky
wood trim in it - all aluminum. There are a lot of gimmicky cheesy
copies out there, but none compare with the 2000-2001 S4 for me.
2001 S4 Avant 6 speed loaded stock - still puts a smile on my face every
time I drive it. Cheers.

Yes it is. However the Passat W8 is more a cruiser than the sport
sedan the S4 is.

Don't know, but I am not crazy about its interior, that dashboard
is really gimmicky.
I think its going to be difficult to find another car that combines
the understated sophistication, performance design and fit/finish
of the S4... I am keeping mine for the long haul.
