A good point. However, we have ignored the issue on both sides of the
equation. We've done nothing to discourage personal transportation
while at the same time we aren't building sufficient roadways for the
increasing demand. This is apparent in Southern California, Denver, and
most large municipalities. We aren't building new high-speed train
systems or other alternatives either.

I know what you all mean, but at least in L.A. we have too many cars so
we have 6 lanes just to support the massive flow. not much room for a
"fast" lane :-(
