Folks,
I heard from my chemist friends that it was best to use as narrow the 
cold/hot viscosity band as possible. Allegedly the band is increased by 
adding long molecular additives. My friends were uniformal in their 
opinion that the less of that stuff we have in the oil the better off we 
are. FWIW.
